The Emmaus Eucharistic Adoration Chapel provides an opportunity to adore the Blessed Sacrament, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. The Chapel is locked at all times. To have access to the Adoration Chapel, please drop by the Parish Office to get a code for the door lock. There is Eucharistic Adoration in the Church every Friday from 5:45—6:45 pm. “Holy Hour” is at 6:00 pm. Each first Friday at 5:45 pm, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the Church and adoration takes place. Everyone is encouraged to spend some time with Our Lord. If you would like to commit to a specific time, please contact Jarka Fusekova @ 604-301-2530. It is important that there be at least 4-5 people in the church at all times during Exposition.
ALTAR SERVERS OF ST. JOSEPH
Boys are encouraged to participate at the Mass as altar servers when they have already received their First Holy Communion. Training sessions to prepare them are held under the supervision of the Pastor. Please contact Fr. CORPUS CHRISTI EDUCATION COMMITTEE
This committee is made up of seven members of the Parish. Their role is to oversee the day to day operations of Corpus Christi School. They are responsible for the hiring of teachers, an administrator, and support staff, as well as the administration of finances. Six members of the committee are elected by the Parish and one member is appointed by the Pastor. Each member’s term is two years. Chairperson — Mr. Mike Araszewski, 604-306-1300.
The goal of the Parish Religious Education program (PREP) is to assist parents in the religious education of those children who are attending public schools. The volunteer catechists are mandated by the Pastor to teach the Catholic Faith to the children who have been entrusted to them for weekly lessons! CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE
All Catholic women of the Parish are encouraged to join the Catholic Women’s League of Canada—a National Organization with groups in many parishes. General Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. This Parish organization provides an opportunity for ladies to make new friends within our Parish community. ENGLISH BIBLE STUDY
A group of parishioners who meet every Tuesday at 9:00 am to meditate and discuss the daily readings. Anyone who feels the need to deepen their understanding of God’s Word will be most welcome to join us for prayerful reflection on the Scriptures. This committee is made up of eight parishioners who are appointed by the Pastor who help to plan, prepare and budget for the Parish.

HIGH SCHOOL PREP
The High School Parish Religious Education Program are for high school students attending public high schools. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
Membership in the Knights of Columbus provides the opportunity for wholesome association with congenial companions who are, first of all, practical Catholic gentlemen. It offers the opportunity for fellowship with those who are of the same belief, who recognize the same duty to God, to family and to neighbour and who stand side by side in defense of those beliefs.
The Knights of Columbus have been a part of Corpus Christi since 1947! General Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month and Executive Meetings are every 3rd Monday of the month. Through many constructive activities of Christian fraternity, members are enabled to render service to their church, their country and their fellowman. LEGION OF MARY
This group of very enthusiastic and devoted ladies help promote our filial devotion to our Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary. Does home visitations to sick parishioners. They hold weekly meetings every Saturday. For more information, please contact Margaret Pitos, 604-323-0473.
These are the people who read the Word of God at Mass. Those wishing to be lectors are prepared for this ministry and are expected to prepare their readings and be at Mass for their turn. Times are usually scheduled to suit the individual. Please contact Irene Goh-Ko at email@example.com.
Traditionally this fundraiser is held from April through till the end of December. This is a fundraiser held by the Archdiocese of Vancouver to help offset the capital cost of many projects throughout the lower mainland and also to assist in the needs of the local Parish. Project Advance receives funds to help in the Capital Campaign of Corpus Christi Parish to fundraise for the renewal of our parish facilities. We ask that people be generous and give what they can to reach our committed goal. Information about this fundraiser can be obtained through the Project Advance Coordinator or the Pastor.
PARISH PASTORAL & STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL
With the introduction of Stewardship in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, the Parish Pastoral Council has been re-organized into a much bigger and more responsive parish body to promote stewardship in the parish. The Parish Pastoral and Stewardship Council is a group of lay people who advise and work with the Pastor in building the Parish as a living Christian community. It consists of the members chosen by Parish groups and ministries and appointed by the Pastor. QUEEN OF ANGELS YOUTH & CHILDREN GROUP
The group meets every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month in the gym. An hour of social activities and prayers starts at 4:30 pm in the gym. Then the group proceeds to the church choir loft at 6:00 pm to practice singing for the Saturday 7:00 pm Mass. Boys and girls aged 5 years and up are welcome.
